I do have your upgraded MathCAD worksheets so I will have to fool around with them an try build a model to see what adjustments I can make to improve the speakers. What would be considered an irregular baffle?Īnother option I have is that I can very easily rotate the stem say 5 or 10 degrees (by just drilling a couple of holes) so that it is off axis with the H-Frame. How much of an off-centering do I need? With the circular front baffle that may not look so great, but with the modular design I can always create a new front baffle. ![]() That said, I do have the ability to place the driver off center somewhat. The Rear baffle with the 8" cutout and mounting hardware, the nice looking two tone Front baffle and in the case where a small driver is used there is a Driver baffle sandwiched in-between the front and the rear where the driver is mounted. The upper baffle really contains 3 pieces. With regards to driver centering, the back cutout is for an 8" driver, so since I will be using 3 and 4" drivers I can change the centering. The good news is that there is the possibility to make adjustments. ![]() I knew that the centered HF driver was not ideal, but I hadn't taken the time yet to look into the technical details of the issue. That is good news about the H-frame because there is no ability to adjust it. Hi Martin, thank you for the comments, they are very much appreciated.
